4Video MOV Converter - To MP4 App Reviews
MOV to AVI
The description states that it can convert .mov to .avi but, it doesn’t.
Doesn’t support listed file types.
Doesn’t actually support conversion to MP4.
I needed a simple way to crop the frame of QuickTime videos, trim the length of the videos, and adjust the brightness. I was able to teach myself how to use the program very quickly, and all the features are easy to use and work appropriately. Also, I had no problems with the audio getting out of sync with the video (unlike some other video editors).
The program does what it says but doesn’t mention a few things that would be very valuable to editors. First - It does not convert to ProRes Second - The maximum reolution it will convert to is 1280 x 720 I loaded up a 1920x1080 Canon .MXF file and it would not convert to a file in that resolution. I had to settle for 1280x720.
FANTASTIC APP!!
As a presenter I have to video my presentations from time to time and submit them for critique. My submissions now include specific formats. My video camera sometimes breaks up a presenation into two or three separate clips. This App allowed me to merge all clips into one seamless video AND Convert to a MP4 format. It all took 7.5minutes! I was blown away! My $60 software that I purchased 3 years ago is ancient with a painfully long wait of over an hour to convert video formats compared to this app! I will definately recommend this app to my fellow colleagues in my profession.
Not for DV conversion
I got this app specifically to convert into DV format, which they promise that it can do. I can convert into DV, but who on Earth can use a 720*480 video for anything. The app may very well do it’s job for any other format, I have no idea.
does not work
This program does not work. I down loaded the app for my computer and every file I choose it says “Failed to Down Load File”…...
largest output size 640 x480
If you are a pro, this app is useless! I was looking for a quick app to convert AVI files to QT. This did the conversion but you cannot output the file at a resolution higher than 640x480. $15 wasted.
Serious limitations for pro use.
